Basic needs in the room, but good for the stay. A/C & Heat worked, basic cable and internet but good, great hot water for the shower ( water was not clear, a little off, but most likely city issue) and front desk service was good.
Room 132 was the best room we had all during our week trip. Which we paid a lot more for some of the other hotels. There is not one thing we can say against this hotel. Love the amenities. Thank you for the hospitality.
It's a very nice, very clean motel with very friendly staff. The best place to rest in Windfield.
I was worried after reading some of the reviews... but I must say it was better than anticipated. It's not fancy. But a great place to stay. Clean and friendly staff.
Rooms start at $70 now. Night staff was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. Wish they were all like her. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We have stayed here on two different occasions and will definitely come back.
My wife and I spent one night in the Evergreen Inn a couple of weeks ago. The room was fine. It's an older motel but has been upgraded and seemed to be very clean. Check in was a little weird. They make you wait outside and check in through a teller window. I'm an old guy and have traveled a lot and never had a place set up like that. I think the owners aren't from the US and maybe where they come from that is normal. The lady was nice though. There is a restaurant in the same building but we didn't try it. It's just funny to me. Keep you outside to check in then have a restaurant to enter right around the corner and invite you in. All in all it was a pleasant stay. Kind of weird but I would definitely recomment the place. If we ever go back to Winnfield I wouldn't hesitate to stay there..
The people who own it are extremely nice! Love the room service too! Very nice little stay for our work trip. I love a hotel with very nice people!! Definitely would come back. Just make sure to bring extra pillows and blankets because the AC does get cold! (Very nice I love a cold room)
Nicely updated, very clean. I've stayed at this motel several times over the past couple of decades, but hadn't been back since just before covid. Visited again over the Thanksgiving holiday and was pleasantly surprised by how well the rooms have been updated. Very nice and helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again on future trips to Winnfield.
